The Brooke is the animal charity that helps people too. From the very start Brooke has prioritised the need to improve the welfare of working equine animals in the developing world and from its small beginnings it has grown to become an international lifesaver – helping horses and the poor people who depend on them - in 10 countries.

The money raised from your GG party will help horses and donkeys working hard in the poorest parts of the world. These animals form the backbone of the economy in many developing countries, supporting countless poor communities where many people earn less than a dollar a day. We estimate that the 730,000 animals the Brooke helps every year support as many as three million people. And every one of these people has their own story about why their animal is so important to them. A key factor in any animal's health is how it is cared for by humans - and that's why working with and training people is so core to our work.
